Caring for your flowers:

Always trim the stems of the flowers before you place them in a vase of water, approximately 3cm diagonally with sharp scissors or a knife. This will ensure water is able to get up the stem of the flower and absorb the flower food. A diagonal cut allows a wider surface for the flowers to drink from.

Always trim As far as possible avoid putting the flowers in a drafty or hot location and keep out of direct sunshine.

You may need to top up the water daily or during the week, so make sure their is plenty of water in the vase at all times.

Use the flower food we supply all our customers with, changing the water when it looks dirty. Try not to use ice cold water, flowers prefer a tepid temperature as it contains less oxygen therefore less bubbles that clog up the stems. This will help your flowers last longer.

If your flowers don't stand up straight it could be that you vase is too short for your flowers or your flowers are too tall for your vase! The height of the vase should be about half to one third of the height of your flowers.

If your flowers are to short for your vase you can always add pebbles or marbles in the bottom to make them a little higher
